About Us
The Treyboys are your typical group of guys who get together once a week to shuffle up and deal and get the cards in the air. We are guys who hope to see hole cards like 10-5 suited and anything 9-4. K-Q off suit looks like pocket Aces to some of us and pocket Queens seem to lose 80% of the time, baby aces are way over valued than they actually are supposed to be, and our pocket 5’s still feel good even with 4 overs on the board. Over betting pots and chasing runner-runner flushes is what we do. No bet is ever too big to call, and any two cards are never too bad to bet on. Blinds not being posted, a bottom card on the deck can occasionally be seen, and a face card will sometimes get dealt upright when dealing to a player. We have all seen our fair share of bad beats, courtesy of the river, and some of us will win a hand and not even know it. But beyond all of these things, we all have an enjoyment for the game No Limit Texas Hold’em. We have been playing for over a year now and have grown in our knowledge and strategy of the game. The TreyBoys are all friends around the table that are not afraid to and are more than happy to knock any of the other players out. Sometimes we are aggressive, sometimes we are tight, and much of the time we are not sure what we are. The one thing that is for sure, is that we all like to play and we like to play often. Some of us dream of being the next Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, or Jamie Gold, but realize those are some pretty big dreams. So until we can qualify for a major WPT or World Series of Poker event we will keep competing with each other in our Wednesday night poker league. If you ever play against us somewhere don’t get too comfortable when you raise pre-flop with your pocket aces and the flop comes 2-2-7, because one of us is probably going to bust you with the full house that we just flopped!
